Salone Nautico Venezia takes off at the Arsenale

Today Venice one returns to the forefront of the nautical world with the fourth edition of its Boat Show, held once more in the historic Arsenal, a symbol of the centuries-old military domination of the Serenissima Republic of Venice and the beating heart of its naval industry.

The exhibition spans 55,000 sqm and is spread across the water basin, with 30,000 sqm of outdoor exhibition space, 5,000 square-metres of indoor space and over 1,100 linear-metres of piers. With over 230 moorings dedicated to superyachts, sailing yachts and various other types of boats, there will be the opportunity to explore a wide range of vessels during the show.

This year the the most important Boat Show of the Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean sees over 220 exhibitors (180 being Italian, with the rest joining from the United Kingdom, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Spain, Germany, France, Austria, Montecarlo, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) who bring 300 vessels to Venice, 250 of which will be in the water, creating a total ship length of 2.7 kilometres.

The event will also see water trials, trophies and sports regattas and an E-Village dedicated to electric boats participating in the E-Regatta.
